You and/or your organization are invited to become part of this exciting annual event, the only one of its kind in the Southeast United States! |
| For the festival to be as successful as possible, we need your support. The rising costs are causing us to cut some integral parts of our budget, yet we still feel strong about our Scandinavian heritage and forge ahead with planning this annual event. We feel it is an excellent occasions to show how five different nations can come together and work in harmony toward a common goal. Wouldn’t you be proud to be part of that, too? |
| This year our total operating budget is $40,000 of which we need to raise about half through sponsorships in order to make ends meet. Attached are the details of the different sponsorship levels and the benefits for each. Just choose the level you are comfortable with and complete and return the form to us by September 1, 2008. Please understand that we accept any amount, even the ones not listed. The form, as well as the latest updates on the festival, is always available on www.atlantascandinavianfestival.org. |
Here are some of the reasons hundreds of volunteers each year work very hard for the festival:
- Once a year the festival brings the entire Scandinavian community together for a fun event.
- The festival profits allow awards to be given to the Atlanta Danish, Finnish and Swedish schools.
- Through successful festivals our dream of having a Scandinavian House in Atlanta serving the entire Southeast USA may one day become reality.
