2008 Scandinavian Festival in Atlanta
Oglethorpe University Campus Quadrangle
on Saturday, October 11, 2008.
From 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

You are invited to be an exhibitor!
Space is limited - reserve now and save 10%!
We welcome all previous and new exhibitors! With an estimated attendance of 4,000 – 5,000 visitors our goal is to present a full range of Scandinavian products to the festival audience. You are welcome to exhibit or offer for sale non-Scandinavian items as well and we are confident you will be happy with your sales results. This year IKEA will be again one of our partners. They have decided to sell at the festival their IKEA brand products only and offer other products at their buyer rate to you on a first come, first serve basis for product exclusivity. If you are interested in purchasing from IKEA, please contact us at your earliest convenience.
The main objective of the Festival is the promotion, appreciation and understanding of Scandinavia. There will be cultural exhibits featuring the five participating countries, musical and dance performances, storytelling and many other activities. A variety of Scandinavian culinary treats will entice visitors of all ages. Again this year the Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish soccer teams will compete for the DSV cup.
This year we are making several improvements including placing the vendor booths closer together for cohesiveness and easier access by the visitors. The festival will be promoted in the Atlanta area via press releases, listings in various community activity calendars in the newspapers and on the internet, advertising to the shoppers at IKEA and other stores and businesses and possibly through newspaper advertising. As an exhibitor you will have an opportunity to get additional exposure by donating an item for the raffle. Your item will be placed in the early drawing with an announcement directing visitors to your booth.
Attached is the space reservation form with the rates. Just complete your deposit check latest by August 15, 2008 to the address on the For any questions you may have, please contact either Vibeke Petersen, tel. 404/695-4478 e-mail: gv6125@aol.com or me. We look forward to your participation and count on your support.
Sincerely,
